Plastic water

Updated: Jan 25, 2019

The amount of plastic in water we drink is alarming. Research from March 2018 led by journalist organization Orb Media examined more than 250 pieces of bottled water from nine different countries. In every one of them, except for 17 pieces, there were discovered on average 325 plastic particles per liter. The option is? Glass water bottle!

Support Zero waste not Plastic pollution

It is also why it is better to use your own bottle. There is so much plastic produced that only tiny amount of it is recycled. What is happening then? The process is called down-cycling. That means when material gets recycled it changes its original quality. Lower quality form of plastic is harder to recycle. So let’s make one step closer to zero waste and reduce plastic we drink in water.

In that bottle would be probably discovered an average of 10 plastic particles per litre, each larger than the width of a human hair.

I love bkr bottles

Since I purchased my bkr bottle I can not take it out of my hands. I love that bottle. It is 16 oz/0,5 l which is ideal size for carrying. Ergonomic handle on the bottle’s lid is addictive too. It is so easy to hold. My bottle fits perfectly in my purse. I also like that I have control of how much water I drink. There are so many pros and we are not at the end yet.

Glass is easy to clean and silicon pouch is not only cute and funky, but it protects the bottle very well while it is not heavy. It is dishwasher safe on top rack.

It was exactly what I was looking for and I swear I did not get paid for this review!

Bkr, in my eyes, is simply a piece of art.
